II Come out of the prison
a.Come out (it isn’t meant to be permanent place, it’s a place of correction)
b.Come out quickly
III Shave yourself
*the Egyptians only allowed a beard and hair to grow as a sign of mourning, which was the reverse of the custom of the Hebrews, who shaved both as a sign of mourning.
a.You’re in the land of your affliction (and you’re preparing yourself)
b.You’re rehearsing old customs and you think you’ve been here before (but this doesn’t mean what you think it means)
c.Your land of affliction is a new land (and you’re practicing a new custom)
