Title: How to become everything God Made you to be.

Pray over Word

I thank you, Father, that your word has the power to change my life. I'm a hearer of the word and a doer of the word and I'll never be the same after today. In Jesus name Amen.

SERIES SETUP

RESET series because no matter where you are in your life you know that there is always more. Deeper relationship with God, family, friends. there another level to the life you should be experiencing?
g2G - You may be here and you killed it in 2021. Life was good but you want to move to great.
Some are just trying to get to good. Some feel like you're stuck in a rut. not happy with the way things are going?
Some times we get to that point where we just need to hit reset.

PROBLEM

We all want a better life.
God also has big dreams for you and your life.
He set you apart.
Jer 1:5
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart;
By this, we know that God knows someone as a being, a life before he forms them in the womb.
This is one way we know that a person still in the womb is, in fact, an entity with a right to life.
Beyond that, we know that God is not only aware of that person but intimately acquainted with them.
If you wonder if God knows you now, you don’t need to wonder. He’s known you for your whole existence and before.
He sets us apart. with a plan.
We want to Become who God made us to be.
Jer 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
This is his overall plan for us.
why do so many people not live up to the plan God has and Become who He made them to be?
We will never change our lives until we change our thinking.
Ecc 10:2 (MSG)
Wise thinking leads to right living. Stupid thinking leads to wrong living.
Everything begins with our thinking.
Be careful what you think about at the beginning of the day.
Enemy will try to stir up your thinking
So many of us see that sinful nature affecting places in our lives. we see some of the things we do and say breathing death on everything.
How do we stop it so we can Become who we were born to be?
Rom 8:5-6 (NLT)
6 So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.
Question becomes, “How? How do we let the Spirit control our mind)

SOLUTION

2 Cor 10:3-5
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Your thoughts create your future.

the best way to learn to control your mind is to read the Word
The Bible is alive and will shape you.
Heb 4:12
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

2. Find a place to think your thoughts.
Have a daily conversation with God.

cast your cares on him and peace will come.

Challenge

God plan for your life is bigger than you.
so we have to open up our lives to his power.
Eph 3:20 (NKJV)
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
god can do way more than you think he can.
