Psalm 69
Will Happen for No Cause
There are times we suffer for doing wrong.
Jesus was truly innocent yet suffered terribly.
We must be sure we aren’t giving cause for people to hate us.
(1 Peter 2:20)
We should evaluate what we’ve done but be aware we can be hated without cause.
For Zeal
Zeal for God leads to conflict with the world.
If we follow Jesus, we should be living with that passion.
Jesus is worthy of our zeal no matter what opposition it brings.
Trust God in It
The worst that can happen in times of opposition is for us to give up.
God is able to bring great outcomes from persecution.
We must keep trusting God no matter what we face. (1 Peter 4:19)
We can have absolute confidence in these times because of Jesus.
