All right, will please stand or remain standing with me and honor of God's word.
We're going to be reading in 1st Corinthians, chapter, 14 and verses 1 through 19.
Pursue Love and Desire spiritual gifts, but especially that, you may prophesying where he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men, but to God for no one understands him.
However, in the spirit, he speaks Ministries, but he who prophesize speaks edification and exultation and comfort to men here, who speaks in a tongue at a fire himself, but he who prophesize edifies the church.
I wish you all spoke with tongues, but even more that you prophesied for He, Who prophesize is greater than he who speaks with tongues, unless indeed, he interprets that the church may receive a notification.
But now Brethren, if I come to you, speaking with tongues, what should I profit you?
Unless I speak to you, either by Revelation by nawlage by prophesying, or by teaching even things without live with her fluids or harp, when they make a sound, unless they make a distinction in the sounds.
How will it be?

Otherwise if you blessed with the spirit, how was he? Who occupies the place of the uninformed?

Indeed give thanks well, but the other is not edify.

As we continue our study in the book of 1st Corinthians, we were land in chapter 14.
And as we just read, those, are that versus we're going to consider this morning.
And our goal is for all of us to understand what scripture teaches about tongues on.
This is not all this scripture teaches.
This is just one of the sections so Untitled.
Today is for the sake of others, for the sake of others, because what comes out clearly exists for the sake of others to benefit others.
And so that is what we will be.

I thank you so much for the opportunity and privilege that it is to teach your word.
I thank you Father for the modern technology that enables and many who aren't feeling well to join us by livestream.
But I think you also Lord for this facility, that you have blessed us with where we are able to sit together as the body of Christ and fellowship with one.

Until father is my desire that your word, the truth of your word would be clearly and effectively communicated today.
And so to that end, I asked for that your Holy Spirit would do the speaking today.

So, here is the spiritual application of this to all who have trusted in Jesus have a spiritual gift, every single one of you.
That Jeff was given to you for the benefit of others.
When we use it in correctly.
We violate the purpose of the gift.
In this section of 1st Corinthians.
Paul is answering questions from the Corinthian, Church regarding spiritual things.
In this section, started in chapter 12 where Paul began to explain how we use.
What is the purpose of the use of spiritual?
Give the address their purpose in chapter 12, the address the address of priority and chapter 13, and now he's addressing the practice.
How do we use them?
The purpose of spiritual gifts is to build and bond the body of Christ.
The priority not personal advancement is the goal.
When we are using our spiritual gifts and to our principal today.
Is this, our spiritual gifts exist for the growth of the body of Christ, our spiritual gifts exist for the What is the body of Christ?
This principle comes with some guidance?
How do we do this?
As we seek to develop growth in the body, we pursue three goals.
And as we pursue these three goals that leads us to an outcome.
And the outcome is this, when the body of Christ, matures Christ is glorified, lives are transformed and sinners become Saints.
So, our gifts are given us to grow the body of Christ, as we're growing, and we're pursuing these three goals.
And when they are pursued, they lead to this outcome.
Three goals that we pursue go.
