Sin Separates Humanity from God, But God Made a Way to Defeat Sin.

Genesis 3:14–15 KJV 1900
14 And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Sin is worse thin this Corona virus pandemic. Sin is worldwide and in every human being.

Romans 3:9–12 KJV 1900
9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; 10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. 12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Romans 3:23 KJV 1900
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

God gave us a way to Defeat sin. God gave us a Remedy for sin.

Remedy: a medicine or treatment for a disease or injury.

God’s medicine and treatment for sin is His Son Jesus Christ.

Genesis 3:15 KJV 1900
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Down through Biblical history other Scripture prophesied of the coming of God’s remedy for humanity.

Isaiah 7:14 KJV 1900
14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, And shall call his name Immanuel.
Isaiah 9:6 KJV 1900
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: And the government shall be upon his shoulder: And his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Humanity needed this remedy, this way to defeat sin because we were headed down a dark and dangerous path of no return.

Genesis 6:5–8 KJV 1900
5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. 8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

God’s promise of a way to Defeat sin had to reveal itself in God’s time.

Galatians 4:3–5 KJV 1900
3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: 4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

REDEMPTION The release of people, animals, or property from bondage through the payment of a price.

A payment had to be made to buy humanity back from sin and Jesus the son of God paid that price.

John 3:16–17 KJV 1900
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
1 Corinthians 6:20 KJV 1900
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

God made a way to Defeat sin by sending His son and Whosoever believes can have the promises of God.

Hebrews 10:5–7 KJV 1900
5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: 6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. 7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

We must scribe to the Plan of Salvation if we want to be with God Forever.

Romans 10:8–11 KJV 1900
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

God’s Way to Defeat Sin is the Only Way to Defeat Sin.
