What does it look like?

Matthew 6:25–34 ESV
25 “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? 28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, 29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. 34 “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
DEFINE:
Kingdom:
- A politically organized community or major territorial unit having a monarchical form of government headed by a king
===
Kingdom of God or Kingdom of Heaven:
Dictionary of Bible Themes :
- the kingly rule of God in the lives of people and nations. It refers to the recognition of the authority of God, rather than a definite geographical area, and begins with the ministry of Jesus Christ.
- The kingdom of God comes into being wherever the kingly authority of God is acknowledged. Although God is always sovereign, Scripture looks to a “realm” or “reign” of salvation. This has come in Christ
Most Christians will say that the Kingdom of GOD is where we go when we die.
At least that is what I grew up thinking about the Kingdom of God.
And this is why many Christians live their lives in quiet desperation hopelessly awaiting that day when they can “escape” their lives and be taken to the Kingdom of GOD where there will be no more sorrow and no tears…
What this does it keeps you in captivity, living in fear, living in apathy, living in desperation....
But the Kingdom of GOD is not an abstract thought. It is here an NOW!
You must step into IT! Receive it!
In the kingdom of God, I have found something far superior to personal fulfillment. I have found the heart of God. I have found my reason for being here.”- Ken Hemphill
He encontrado mi razón para estar aquí”. -Ken Hemphill
- The Immensity of the Kingdom of GOD removes ALL limits on what God can do through us.
1st Preaching of JESUS was:
Matthew 4:17 ESV
17 From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
Matthew 4:17 RVR60
Living in the kingdom is stepping outside of the worry of this world and entering GODS domain.
When you repent and are baptized you are dying to the world system
You are dying to what used to Dominate you and entering a KINGDOM that is not of this world.
What dominates your today?
What dominates your mind?
What worry, anxiety, preoccupation, stress, sadness, depression, loneliness…
I tell you “The Kingdom of God is at Hand”
Luke 17:20–21 ESV
20 Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, “The kingdom of God is not coming in ways that can be observed, 21 nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.”
Luke 17:20–21 RVR60
You don’t have to live in the domain of this world.
Living in the World system is: Fear, anxiety, worry…
These things are the “root” of sin.
This is what the bible calls in the greek ANOMIA
2 Thessalonians 2:7 ESV
7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way.
2 Thessalonians 2:7 RVR60
Matthew 7:23 ESV
23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
Matthew 7:23 RVR60
When you do what Jesus said: Repent and be Baptized then you step out of the world system.
You are literally uprooted from Iniquity
Titus 2:14 ESV
14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.
Titus 2:14 RVR60

Romans 14:17 ESV
17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Romans 14:17 RVR60
Stepping into the Kingdom is stepping into a realm of FAITH!
Living in the Kingdom if doing the will of GOD (His Righteousness)

14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
