Ephesians 5:14–17 (NKJV)

Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”

See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

“God does not need to compete for your attention.

To contend for your attention would be to mean something else actually has the possibility of beating him.

He is undefeated.

There is no comparison.

There is no competition only complacency.

When you choose to settle for less than God’s Will for your life, God will not beg for you to choose him, because champions don’t beg.

Champions Don’t Beg

Champions don’t settle, champions don’t lower themselves just to prove once again that they can win not only at the top of the mma arena, but again at the bottom.

Christ Died 3 Days - Jonah

Christ died, 3 days in the belly of the earth.

Where dead things go, both body and spirit!

And hurled back into our life!

To bring deliverance!

quickly repented, and avoided the judgment and wrath of God.

Apathy within 5 generations

That great fish didn't keep Jonah Down, But God’s Will Prevailed!

Death, and hell couldn’t keep Christ down.

Raised to set you free!

Have we become as apathetic in our faith as the Ninevites?

By your confession you are saved, committed even.

God does not have to contend for your attention, he is the champion.

we tend to try and tell God how it is, and how it’s gonna go.

But he’s so confident, secure, and patient that his word remains unchanged and he’ll let you do you.

But if you ever want to really see life and life abundantly, his instruction is already there.

I believe there will be a time of weeping before we step pass the judgment seat of Jesus Christ.

lived perfectly as a man, only one qualified to judge you as a man, and as God.

And he will decide your fate.

Two Judgements

1. Sheep and Goats

Matthew 25: 31-46 ““When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.

All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.

And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.

Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’ “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?

When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You?

Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’

And the King will answer and say to them, ‘As…”

2. Great White Throne - Judgment Seat of Christ.

Revelation 20:1-5 “Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished.

But after these things he must be released for a little while.

And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them.

Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands.

And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished.

This is the first resurrection.”

What will WE be judged on then?
