Our new position of condemnation

Chapters 1-7 Paul builds our case of Condemnation
Paul Declares our new state of Condemnation
Paul describes why this is
Take note that “law” (note there is no caps) in this verse is not The Law of Moses but referencing a power over you
Paul explains How this is
The Law (Law of Moses) could not redeem us
God sent his Son (sin free) to be condemned for us
Debt can only be paid by one that is Debt free
Therefore the requirements of redemption are fulfilled in us.
In us, not by us
for those who walk in the spirit (with Christ in them)

Our New Life in the Spirit

5. You now have a new mind in Christ. Those with the Spirit of Christ has been given a new mind, A new understanding, a new perspective, a new world view.
a. Those still in the flesh, are only capable of action in the flesh
b. Those in the Spirit, are capable of producing fruits of the Spirit.
Galatians 5:19–23 NASB95
Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

12-13. With New Spiritual Life we are obligated by our spirit to live accordingly
