The term “buying time” as I use it today refers to taking advantage of opportunities. Today, we will see that we must take advantage of our God given opportunities.

I. Buy Time For These Reasons.
1. Our time is short.
Our lives last seventy years or, if we are strong, eighty years. Even the best of them are struggle and sorrow; indeed, they pass quickly and we fly away. (Psa 90:10 HCSB)
