John 17 :6-19 ““I have manifested Your name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world; they were Yours and You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.

What is intercessory Prayer?

Quite simply, intercessory prayer is the act of praying on behalf of others.

Why do we need a mediator ?

Because he is the perfect sinless sacrifice for our sins.

He is the only one holy enough to mediate on our behalf.

God is unreachable and impossible to understand or conceive, Christ has entered a human body and become part of the human creation, which is continuing, and so is to a degree accessible.

Jesus still prayed for his disciples, even though he already knew what he had put in them.

And he also knew what the world was capable of.

He says “and they have kept your word” !
