We are family
Been adopted into Sonship
Fight Like Family
Heal Like Family

Conflict, being open to conflict because of resolution
Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart,
Brothers and Sisters Never Leave
When we are Hurt We Leave
WHAT SOMEONE DOES DOESNT CHANGE THE STATUS OF THE RELATIONSHP
A friend loves at all times,
and a brother is born for adversity.
Brothers and Sisters Put Themselves on the Line
We are called to pour ourselves out for one another, just as God poured himself out for those whom he Loves.

Title: LET HOSPITALITY EXTEND
PRAYER
PRAYER
Our Calling is simple
LOVE GOD LOVE PEOPLE
But the depth behind this Is powerful.
WAVES - Waves are simple, but the weight and the depth behind it is what makes it POWERFUL
It is important for us to dive into the depths of God.
Called to Go DEEPER!

I want to equip you all
We can do all that we can to equip and Empower, but at the end of the day at some point the ball will be in your court.
Your relationship with Jesus
LOGOS - Practical Tool
Bible Reading App
Our calling as Christians simply put is:
Love God Love People -
Love God we talk about pretty often..
BUT
HOW DO WE LOVE PEOPLE?
We are called to a life of Brotherly Love and Hospitality.
Commentary
We serve and love God by loving believers as brothers and strangers with hospitality.
Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.
HOSPITALITY IS NOT BROTHERLY LOVE
Brotherly Love for Us
Hospitality for them
What we need from one another is different than what the world needs.
Stranger at my house is going to be different than my brother at my house.
Serve the first timer, chill with the brother.
We are not called to PhilADelPhia everyone!
YOU MIGHT SAY…
“We are called to LOVE everyone”
Matthew 22:39 (ESV)
You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Greek Language 7 words for Love
4 That are used in the Bible
Philadelphia - Brotherly Love - Uniting Love of believers
Eros -(Air-Rows) Intimate Love, Sensual Love, like from a spouse
Storge - (Stor-Gey) Close family love, like a mother to a child
Agape - Unconditional Love no matter who or what circumstances Are - GODS LOVE
I “LOVE” you (Which Love?)
It is important to look at which meaning of the word is being used.
And that word is AGAPE
Agapao (verb form of Agape)
Agapē means to love even if undeserving, despite disappointment and rejection in hopes for restoration.
To agape love the world in a way means to serve this world.
We called to AGAPE this world… Unconditional Love.
Forgive them for they know not what they do.
How different would it be if he used the word Eros!?!?
HOW DO WE SHOW HOSPITALITY TO THE WORLD?
1. Hospitality is Simple
2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
Hospitality —> To Show Hospitality to Strangers (philoxenia— Phil-Lox-Eh-Nee-Uh)
To practically show kindness - primarily in 4 ways, food, drink, lodging, provision to outsiders.
ESSENTIALLY THEIR BASIC NEEDS
We are not called to make it something Its not
But so often we do…
ITS SIMPLE!!!
Watch a movie with some friends, buy someone a coffee, go out to lunch with
“I cant do that because they arn’t Christians…” I can’t NOT do that because they are not Christian’s
In the world not of it… Some of us are not even in the world…
That evening many demon-possessed people were brought to Jesus. He cast out the evil spirits with a simple command, and he healed all the sick.
Saw a complicated mess and met it with a simple command…
See a need, simply meet it.
The world may look high maintenance complicated queen… but they are just a basic girl…
The world may have complicated needs, but I am so thankful there is a simple answer.
Dont neglect the potential of a simple coffee
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
2. Hospitality is Intentional
2. Hospitality is Intentional
Basket Ball
Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
DO NOT FORGET TO HOST AND HELP MEET THE BASIC NEEDS OF THE PEOPLE OUT THERE!
WHILE YOU ARE DOING YOUR THING IN HERE,
DONT FORGET THAT YOU ARE PLAYING A GAME OUT THERE
DONT GET SO FOCUSED ON THE THIS IN HERE THAT WE MISS THE THAT OUT THERE
The words DO NOT NEGLECT IN GREEK MEAN
DO NOT FORGET, KEEP ALWAYS ON THE FRONT OF YOUR MIND.
IN OTHER WORDS
BE INTENTIONAL ABOUT THE MISSION OF HOSTING A HURTING WORD
Let Brotherly Love Continue
LET BROTHERLY LOVE BE YOUR NATURAL STATE SO THAT YOU CAN FOCUS, NOT FORGET, KEEP ON THE FRONT OF YOUR MIND MEETING THE BASIC NEEDS OF A WORLD THAT NEEDS JESUS.
Let brotherly love continue… but dont forget you are playing a game.
SACRIFICE
16 Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
Its simple doesn't always mean its easy
Through our simple sacrifice, comes their significant transformation.
Bigger and Better
Practical Questions
Who in your world can you reach out to?

3. Hospitality is not Earned
People Preaching you have to earn it.
9 Do not be led away by diverse and strange teachings, for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, which have not benefited those devoted to them. 10 We have an altar from which those who serve the tent have no right to eat. 11 For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy places by the high priest as a sacrifice for sin are burned outside the camp. 12 So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his own blood.
13 Therefore let us go to him outside the camp and bear the reproach he endured.
Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith.
Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God.
