-Romans 5:1-2 with Romans 1:17
Grace: a definition
God freely producing for us, through the
person and work of His Son, all that we could
need, all that we yearn for, all that we are
commanded to walk in and become, but could
never deserve, could never earn and could
never produce on our own.
2 Corinthians 8:9
Revelation 22:21
1 Cor 8:9
For you know the grace of our Lord
Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for
your sakes He became poor, that you through
His poverty might become rich.
Rev 22:21 The
grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be
with you all. Amen.

8
And God is able to make all grace abound
toward you, that you, always having all
sufficiency in all things, may have an
abundance for every good work.
James 4:6
Jam 4:6 But
He gives more grace. Therefore He
says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace
to the humble.”
1 Peter 5:5-7
5
Likewise you younger people, submit
yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be
submissive to one another, and be clothed
with humility, for
“God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.”
6
Therefore humble yourselves under the
mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in
due time,
7
casting all your care upon Him, for He cares
for you.
Romans 5:1-2
1
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we
have peace with God through our Lord Jesus
Christ,
2
through whom also we have access by faith
into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice
in hope of the glory of God.
Romans 1:17
17
For in it the righteousness of God is
revealed from faith to faith; as it is written,
“The just shall live by faith.”
Conclusion
Warnings and Encouragement
- Jude 4 with Romans 6:1-2
- 2 Corinthians 6:1-2
Jude 4 with
Romans 6:1-2
Jude 4 For
certain men have crept in unnoticed,
who long ago were marked out for this
condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the
grace of our God into lewdness and deny the
only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Rom 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Shall we
continue in sin that grace may abound?
Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin
live any longer in it?
2 Corinthians 6:1-2
1
We then, as workers together with Him also
plead with you not to receive the grace of God
in vain.
2 For He says:“In an acceptable time I have
heard you,And in the day of salvation I have
helped you.”Behold, now is the accepted time;
behold, now is the day of salvation.
