How do you respond when trouble strikes? People may advise us to “stay positive, and you’ll get through it”. There may be some merit to this. But there’s something else the Christian is called to do. Pray! For the Christian, desperate times call for desperate prayers! As we continue our series “Heart after God’s Heart” on the life of King David, this week we get to learn from the prayers of someone well acquainted with hardship. His raw, fervent, and heartfelt prayers teach us not only how to pray in difficult situations, but how to trust and find our hope in God when the world seems to give way.
