Lies Of The enemy

Nehemiah 4:1-2 (NKJV) 1 But it so happened, when Sanballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall, that he was furious and very indignant, and mocked the Jews.
2 And he spoke before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, "What are these feeble Jews doing? Will they fortify themselves?...
…Will they offer sacrifices? Will they complete it in a day? Will they revive the stones from the heaps of rubbish--stones that are burned?"
1. What are these feeble Jews doing?
2. Will they fortify themselves?
3. Will they offer sacrifices?
4. Will they complete it in a day?
5. Will they revive the stones?
I want to take a look at these questions.

1. He calls them Feeble Jews?

Feeble-To droop; by implication to be sick, to mourn: - languish, be weak, wax feeble.
Satan would love to keep you thinking that you are weak and sick, but the Word of God said, “that you are more than conquerors through Him who loved us” (Romans 8:37).
More than a conqueror: from GK. words Huper & Nikao means to prevail mighty, vanquish beyond, gain a decisive victory.

2. Will they fortify themselves?

Fortify- provide (a place) with defensive works as protection against attack (To Make Strong.)
Satan want you to thank that you could never be free, that you could never be strong, you will always be in bondage, But don’t forget what the Word of God says, “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil”(1John 3:8).

3. Will they offer sacrifices?

Will they be able restore worship? Look at them their so messed up how could they ever worship?
That’s what Satan, would want you to think, I’m so unworthy I could never worship God. But the Word of God Let us know that we are “justified by faith” (Romans 5: 1).
We cannot make ourselves worthy. It’s all about what Christ has done for us that we are made worthy.

4. Will they complete it in a day?

Satan want you to think that the work that God is doing in you will never be completed.
But look at what the Word of God says, “being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6).
Colossians 2:10 (NKJV) 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

5. Will they revive the stone?

There lives are nothing but burned over stones nothing but rubbish.
God is in the business of reviving burned over stone.

Satan is the accuser

Zechariah 3:1 (NKJV) 1 Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him.

Satan has no power

Zechariah 3:2 (NKJV) 2 And the LORD said to Satan, "The LORD rebuke you, Satan! The LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?"
We need to know that the emery has no power!
The only power that Satan has is what you and I give him when we believe his lies.
Colossians 2:14-15 (NKJV) 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way,…
…having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. (In The Cross)
We empower the enemy when we believe his lies. The only thing he knows to speak is lies.
John 8:44 (NKJV) 44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth,…
…because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

I once stood filthy but now I’m clean

Zechariah 3:3-4 (NKJV) 3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel. 4 Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying,…
…"Take away the filthy garments from him." And to him He said, "See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes."

I am Clothed in His Righteousness

Zechariah 3:5 (NKJV) 5 And I said, "Let them put a clean turban on his head." So they put a clean turban on his head, and they put the clothes on him…

We Have Been Made Right With God

Romans 5:1-2 (NKJV) 1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Romans 5:1–2 NLT
Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace* with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.
Whatever you passed failure maybe, when we are willing to give ourselves one hundred percent God. He can take burnt over stone and us them for His Glory.
God’s grace meets us at our point of failure.
Failure is not fatal for the child of God.
Don’t allow you past hurts or failures to determine your future!
