· Isaiah 40:27-31
· Luke 4:16-21
· 2 Corinthians 3:2-3
1. Our Next discovery was that some real work was happening with in our group. We discovered that “We Grow Through What We Go Through”
2. We discovered that Being the Gospel is more impactful to others and oneself than reading or listening to scripture.
Being the Gospel
is more impactful to others and to oneself than reading or listening to scripture.
You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone. 3 You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. 2 Corinthians 3:2-3
3. We discovered that
Experience + Perspective = Significance.
Experience becomes Significant when it is wrapped in the Perspective that comes from Reflection, Bible Study, Prayer and Sharing.
This was the Discipleship Model that Jesus used—Teaching + Engagement / Experience + Reflections (Questions Asked)
4. We discovered that We Grow in Our Relationships with Others and One Another Through What We Go Through.
It’s not all about what you do;
It’s about the relationships that you make.
“Learning is most enjoyable when it is done with others”.
Where can we find the “Sweet Spots” for ministry in 2022?
The choices that scare us the most; are the ones that are going to help us grow.
