There is great power in the gift of prophecy!

But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men. 1 Cor 14:2
1 Corinthians 14:2 NKJV
For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.
Prophecy = to speak forth, to foretell and to speak the mind or heart of God.
· Edification = to build up.
· Exhortation = calling to one’s aid, encouragement and includes warning.
· Comfort = consolation and comfort in a greater degree of tenderness than the previous two.
Despise not prophesyings. 21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 1 Thess 5:20-21

Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good.
