It's not that you can hear me here.
It's like we're broadcasting online and I want to make sure that that gets recorded.
We're live here.
Yeah.
Yeah anyway.
Can you get the music off?
There we go.
We're going to talk about trust today and the problem of trust and I just wanted to do a quick exercise.
I just wanted to figure this out.
How many of you have ever done that trust exercise where people are standing behind you and you fall back.
How many of you done that?
They how many of you have done that and no one was there to catch you?
Am I the only one who's Fallen back and your friends and family members who were supposed to catch?
You weren't there?
Am I the only one who's ever been disappointed in life with trust?
This is what I'm asking.
Have you ever trusted someone and have them let you down.
Have you ever had somebody?
I promise you something and that promise, be broken.
Have you ever?
We all have right?
Yeah.
Yeah, I'd like your but yeah, we all get this.
There is a problem with trust.
Whether it's a parent who forgot to pick you up when you were done practice or a friend, who told you that I told someone else the secret that you entrusted to them, or a spouse.
Who, who cheated on you.
It's tough to make the decision to trust again.
We have all had people disappoint us.
And we've all had opportunity to feel that God has let us down.
The problem with trust is that we've all been hurt.
We've all risked and we've all been let down.
We've all been lied to.
We've all been to betray.
We've all learned.
It's not good to trust people.
And we've learned wrong that we really can't trust God, to be good.
But when we trust stop trusting.
Especially trusting God we miss out of the peace in the joy and the hope and the happiness in the prosperity, in the safety, and the faithful love in the deliverance, and the help and The Refuge and salvation and the new fear that we can have.
When we trust God.
You and I need to learn how to trust the trust Apple.
How do we know who's dress?
Double?
You know, how do you grow in trust for God.
And with crustable people?
We're going to start looking at that in the message today.
Let's pray.
Lord, I Thank you that you are the trust of one and I pray God, that that will be reinforced again and again, and again to us today.
Free Lord, God that we would learn to trust.
Those were across the Ville and Lord learned that we can be trusted for ones, too.
And Lord I Thank you that it's your words that speak to your people and bring life and I pray for that today.
In your name we pray.
Amen.
So most of you know, that Karen and I have moved into a new place.
and,
What really that means to me is I've had to put together a whole lot, more Ikea furniture.
and, As I put together this Ikea furniture.
God has just been speaking to me about trust.
And this topic of trust is one that I've been pondering for years, like I it is amazing.
To just look at people who are across the bowl and try to figure out why I trust them.
And see people who have trusted God through difficult times and what that is meant to them in their Journey.
I want to know.
More about trust.
I want to know how I can teach others about trusted.
And so really what this message is, is kind of an overview of a whole course that I know God is giving me the teach the people.
I got a tundra, right.
It, we've got nine parts for this sermon.
We're only going to do the overview of those parts today, so don't worry about that.
But as I was putting together Ikea furniture there.

I didn't know how I was going to get the screws because there is specific, Ikea ish kind of screws.

So she comes and 10 minutes later.
She gives me all the screws and it's like I'm going to go paint know, she just get them to me.
It's like, oh, that's awesome.
