God’s will for your life is that at the end of your life, you look like Jesus.
ILLUS: imitating someone b/c I want to be like them
God wants to make you holy over happy.
What made this person unique (that I wanted to imitate) is that they had a way of doing something unlike anyone I had ever seen.
To imitate this person, I had to put to death some things… old habits would creep in...
Then I had to put on some things…
Holiness
Holiness means different, set apart, different than anything else— God is holy— Jesus came down to earth to embody holiness in a human body— giving us the ability to live differently (w/ God now inside of us by the HS) and be set apart from anyone else.
