1. God created us to be with Him.
Acknowledge that the Lord is God!
He made us, and we are his.
We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Q. What does this verse say about being created to be with God?

2. Our sins separate us from God.
For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.

3. Sins cannot be removed by good deeds.
We are all infected and impure with sin.
When we display our righteous deeds,

4. Paying the price for sin, Jesus died and rose again.
But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

5. Everyone who trusts in Him alone has eternal life.

To trust Him as Lord.
6. Life with Jesus starts now and lasts forever.
And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.
Q. How does this verse indicate that life with Jesus starts now and lasts forever?
“Have” = present tense
“Eternal” = future (infinite)

That’s sharing the GOSPEL
2. Ask if he or she would like to become a Christian
If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.
