People Need you when they need you Luke 10:29-3029The man wanted to justify his lack of love for some kinds of people, so he asked, “Which neighbors?”30Jesus replied with an illustration: “A Jew going on a trip from Jerusalem to Jericho was attacked by bandits. They stripped him of his clothes and money, and beat him up and left him lying half dead beside the road. To begin with I want to teach talk and tells us tonight the People need you when they need you. The Authentic story about the Good Samaritan is paramount and sets the posture for a positive civilized society to behave. Jesus asked the question Who is my Neighbor? And when I was younger I would have answered the people who live on side of me. or even around the corner and down the street. But this text teaches me that my neighbor could come from a very different neighborhood background socioeconomic background and educational status. I have an encounter at the gym that inspired this message. God works in mysterious ways and His wonders to perform. There are four major themes that put emphasis on the 1.Ethical, 2. Spiritual, 3. Legalistic, and 4. Moral Fortitude.From the NCV in Luke 10:1 After this, the Lord chose seventy-two others and sent them out in pairs ahead of him into every town and place where he planned to go. 1. The Ethical Implications. The Ethical Implications give us an explanation as to how we ought to represent the Lord’s work. Jesus listed the criteria for the 72 disciples. The 72 disciples are properly called Apostello. An Apostello is different from an Apostle. And the difference is that the Apostello was a person who was sent with a commission to represent the Lord as an Ambassador for Christ, mainly to the gentile culture. And the Apostolic Fathers or the Apostles for the which we have learned to call Peter James John Andrew Matthew and the rest of them. They are considered to be founders of the Christian Church andand those who walked the dusty streets with Jesus and and and those who were sent to minister mainly to the Jews. And even when peter became a traveling evangelist, Paul had to confront Peter about himself, because Peter would say on thing to the Jews and then turn around and say something else to the gentiles and get this it was oftentimes treating thee gentiles as inferior and not equal to the Jews. The text says in verses 2-12 that the Apostellos heal folk casted out devils and they ministered to folk who gladly recieved the word. And Jesus responds to them by saying The Harvest is plenteous but the laborers are few. Jesus said that the Laborers ought to pray to the Lord of the Harvest that more Laborers will come and help in this great divine work of God. The Lord is speaking to this world loudly especially with this corona virus, and wars and rumors of war, and racial tensions and injustices, and sky rocketing prices and supply chain shortages. This is the time for the people of God to make a stance against the ills of society and invite people to be on the Lord’s side. Saints of God we’ve got to get off the sidelines and say “coach” put me in the game I’ll score some point for Kingdom Business. *Furthermore in this explanation or pre-kerser in the text that we’re dealing with tonight we find another important profitable, paling and potent proclamation that the text presents. “I live by it”!!!!! Jesus said to the Apostellos listen to me real good What ever city ya’ll go in that receive you stay there. Because verse 7 says that the workman is worthy of his wages. The Living Bible says in Luke 10: 8-9“If a town welcomes you, follow these two rules: (1) Eat whatever is set before you.

(2) Heal the sick; and as you heal them, say, ‘The Kingdom of God is very near you now.’

10“But if a town refuses you, go out into its streets and say, 11‘We wipe the dust of your town from our feet as a public announcement of your doom. Never forget how close you were to the Kingdom of God!’ In other words Jesus was saying if they don’t listen it’s not that they rejected you Preacher they rejecting God Himself!!!

*Furthermore Proverbs 17:26 from the NCV says It is not good to punish the innocent or to beat leaders for being honest. And in addition to that our theme text says that it would be better for Sodom and Gomorrah, Tyre, and Sidon and even Capernaum finishes with them. This scares me because Jesus said that if the Apostellos had done great works in those wicked cities they would have repented and put on sackcloth and ashes in penitence. And Jesus was especially upset with Capernaum because he thought a little higher of them. and verse 15 says and you people of Capernaum, what shall I say about you? Will you be exalted to heaven? No, you shall be brought down to hell.”

I heard the late great DMX the Rapper say these profound words.... Always trust everyone to be themselves and trust in the fact that you can see them well. He says it takes too much energy to not trust them.but know them when you see them. He said if he a snake trust him to bite you.16Then he said to the disciples, “Those who welcome you are welcoming me. And those who reject you are rejecting me. And those who reject me are rejecting God who sent me.” *Listen to me you could not like the preacher but welcome him and treat him right because the bible tells us be careful how you entertain strangers because you just might be entertaining angel unaware. Treat the Pastor Preacher teacher Leader right because God is looking at how you treat his representative.

The Apostellos (disciples) came back and they were excited about being productive for the Kingdom of God. I’m always excited about producing for Kingdom Business. They told Jesus that they used The Power of the Name of Jesus, and Powerful stuff happened.Then Jesus said that’s good, that’s what I wanted to happen, all of that is wonderful but just remember that while all of this miraculous stuff is happening for “other people,” don’t forget the most important thing in your lives, and that is that your names are written in the Lamb’s book of Life. And after 32 years of ministry I’ve learned that the worst thing that could happen too me is that I help save tons of people and then lose my own relationship with Christ and bust hell wide open..... That would be so awful. Something else I learned a longggg time ago. and that is, don’t neglect you family running behind a church or church folk. The late great Rev.Dr. Joseph Roberts Williams told me Allen don’t neglect your family for these folk. Your family will be shot to hell and they’ll keep on going like nothing happened. If there is anything I’d do differently I would have taken more time with my family..... I never forgot that.. And I tell all young preacher that. The Late great Samuel Singleton use to tell me Keep the Lord with you everywhere you go. Then the late great Rev Job Stevens use to tell me don’t let all kind of people into your home. you’ll be wondering why the anointing and the Godly dynamics changed in your home it’s because you let some outsiders in.17When the seventy disciples returned, they joyfully reported to him, “Even the demons obey us when we use your name. That’s powerful 2x because that warfare ought to be fought out there. And Preacher you ought to have already fought that battle in your own home.

At the beginning of this year the told me to tell the church to set thine house in order. I did I sat down with my family and told them how to live godly. The said ok daddy ok we’ve heard that sermon many times before. i said well you’re going to hear it again!!! And again and again

18“Yes,” he told them, “I saw Satan falling from heaven as a flash of lightning!

That had to be a spiritual experience but at some part of Satan’s decent also it had to be a physical experience as well.

19 And I have given you authority over all the power of the Enemy, and to walk among serpents and scorpions and to crush them. Nothing shall injure you!

That’s also spiritual warfare that may also manifest itself in the natural at some point, but you got to be in the will of God so you can recognize it when you see it.

20 However, the important thing is not that demons obey you, but that your names are registered as citizens of heaven.” That’s spiritual because Only Jesus can write our names down in the Lamb’s Book of Life. And that’s why I keep my relationship with Christ in good standing.

21 Then he was filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit and said, “I praise you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for hiding these things from the intellectuals and worldly wise and for revealing them to those who are as trusting as little children. Yes, thank you, Father, for that is the way you wanted it. I follow God blindly I know to the natural eye it seems crazy but I’ve found that I have better outcome with God that when I do things myself.

22. I am the Agent of my Father in everything; and no one really knows the Son except the Father, and no one really knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.” This teaches talks and tells us about Christ as the Divine Deity as a distinct but having an equal position in the trinity. Explain the Trinitarian Act of Salvation

23 Then, turning to the twelve disciples, he said quietly, “How privileged you are to see what you have seen.

24 Many a prophet and king of old has longed for these days, to see and hear what you have seen and heard! This is spiritual because it proves how Jesus was is and ever shall be God and that He’s not limited or bound by time or space Jesus spoke of the prophets of old who had come before the 72 Apostellos. And that says to me that God had preacher before I accepted the calling and God will have preacher accepting the calling long after I’m gone. And it’s a blessing that scripture is being revealed in these days and times.

This heavy doctrine or as they say in the seminary this is high theology...

And the text says that a certain lawyer came questioning Jesus Look at Luke 10:25-26 from the Living Bible One day an expert on Moses’ laws came to test Jesus’ orthodoxy by asking him a question: “Teacher, what does a man need to do to live forever in heaven?” 26. Jesus replied, “ What does Moses’ Law say about it?” The lawyer was an expert on the Mosiac Law . He thoroughly knew the thou shalts and the thou shalt nots. He was a bonifide Rev. Dr of the Law. he knew the written word of God. He knew the Crytogram. He knew the Grapo Logos, the lawyer knew the Divine Logos as well as the Rhema Word of God!!! Luke 10:25-26 “And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?” and he asked Jesus, Master what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

It was a legal legitimate question.3x It was legit it was legal but his motives were all wrong!!!! Listen to me just because somebody ask you the right question doesn’t mean that the question is for the right reason. The lawyer was an expert on the Law of Moses. He didn’t need any interpretation or commentary on the Mosiac Law. He didn’t need clarification. He knew the veracity of the scriptures. HE KNEW THE ANSWERS!!!!!!

27 The man answered, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.” Also, “Love your neighbor as you love yourself.”

28 Jesus said to him, “Your answer is right. Do this and you will live.”

To me and for most of us that would have been the end of the story no but Mr. Smart elik want to know answers to question he already know the answer to. He just want to trick and trap and test Jesus’ doctrinal knowledge
