Trust in God

Provers 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart (intellect, emotion, identity of self) and lead not to your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path”
Trust: firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something/ Hebrew baw-takh’ refuge, be confident or sure: be bold, secure, careless.
I was raised old school. When my mom told me to do something or there would be consequences…there was no doubt that if I did not listen, I would feel reward for my disobedience.
God instructed the Israelites through the Prophet and King on exactly what their mission was to be. However, instead of listening the Nation of Israel thought they knew better and petitioned their king to complete the assignment a different way…their way or understanding. The second half of the Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding.”

Provisions of God

Philippians 4:19 “And my God will meet or provide all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus”
Provide: Greek word play-ro’-o (literally to cram (a net) level up (a hollow) figuratively to furnish, satisfy, verify or coincide with a prediction
Waking up to get a bowl of cereal-even when my mom was sleep I knew that if couldn’t reach something to complete my mission of operation cereal bowl, and Saturday morning cartoons-followed by Kung Fu theater…mom was my only provider
By taking the choice possessions from the (conquered nation)..the nation of Israel did not show trust that God would supply them with what they took in defiance

Testimonial of God

Galatias 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
