WAR

We are in a battle against the spiritual forces of wickedness

The enemy is wise with its attacks, but the attacks fall short

The slippery slope: It used to be tolerance, then inclusiveness, now love

There is an attack against our basic humanity

Why? Because it is a creation of God

Truth from the Word

Genesis 1:26–31 ESV

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. The Attack

There has been a major push for the inclusiveness of homosexuality since the late 80’s

The push started before that but the major push started taking place then

You can’t watch anything these days without this issue of homosexuality, even in children‘s shows. There has been an increase of over 200% which took place bit by bit. Very strategic.

The method is desensitize and jamming. Jamming is the practice of painting anyone who goes against as evil.

The acronym used to be LGB. We were convinced to be tolerant, then inclusive, loving, and now you must conform.

This was an attack against marriage.

”Did God really say?”

Later the Trans community was added. It wasn’t supposed to be a slippery slope, all they wanted was marriage rights. Now the transsexual issue is at the forefront.

This is an attack on our basic creation of man and woman.

The feminist movement has also played a hand in this.

The song “Anything you can do I can do better” came out in 1946.

The song “Where have all the cowboys gone” came out in 1996.

The slide has been happening for a long time

The acronym has now grown to LGBTQIA2+

Added note, one of the aspects of love is not to be easily offended. Why are people these days so easily offended? Because it’s not really love they are practicing.

The separation of men and women and of our basic masculinity and femininity has been attacked for some time

God’s Design

God created male and female in His image

There was unity and equality

Woman - iššâ

Man - 'îš

The differences between men and women give greater worth to both

Is water or soap more important

The problems came after The Fall; it’s this woman you gave me, woman’s desire would be contrary to her husband - same language of sin crouching at the door in Gen. 4

Why This Is Important

We must be wise against the enemies tactics

We must know what we stand for not just what we stand against

We need to know truth

Stop giving ground to the enemy

Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints. For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Contend for the faith

Hebrews 10:35–39 ESV

Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised. For, “Yet a little while, and the coming one will come and will not delay; but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.” But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls.
