Main Idea: We must become more missional in life; to be missional means to Comfort those we are sent, help those who are sent, share with everyone, cooperate with the Holy Spirit
Opening Line: The four corners of the earth is an expression that we understand to mean the whole thing North, South, East, and West. I believe this is true when it comes to missions.
Physically we can travel north, south, east and west to share the Gospel. I believe there are also 2 other four corners that we must recognize when it comes to completing the mission.
1 Corinthians 3:9–11 NIV
9 For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. 10 By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. 11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.
We are co-workers in God’s Service and we must build upon the foundation of Jesus Christ.
The Spiritual 4 Corners we will be talking about today are
These are the foundation that we must build our lives and our view of missions around.

1. Love

John 13:34–35 NIV
34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

2. Faith

John 3:16–17 NIV
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

3. Grace

Ephesians 2:8–10 NIV
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

4. Truth

John 8:31–32 NIV
31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Cooperating with the Holy Spirit
2 Corinthians 5:20–6:1 NIV
20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 1 As God’s co-workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain.
We are all called to live a life of love, faith, truth, and grace
be open to the Holy Spirit to what that looks like in your life.
Is He calling you to give or go?
If are in a place where you are thinking I want to live on mission for God to live for a purpose beyond myself, but you feel lost. The love and Grace of Jesus Christ will change your life if you ask. If you need to know Jesus as your lord and savior I would love to talk to you more about what it means to live in forgiveness or send us a message I will get back to you.
Closing Line: When we daily grow in the 4 foundations of Following Christ, Love, Faith, Grace and Truth we will become more missional or mission minded in our every day life.
