The "Jesus" of popular culture isn't a problem because he is conformed by the people to the sins of the people to be made acceptable to them. However, the one true Jesus, revealed in Scripture to us, is a problem for those who want to remain in their sin, who want to continue to live life for themselves, rather than for their Creator.
