Let pray the biblical pray that God open our eyes, our children eyes, our love one eyes. Lets be church that have open eyes, open heart to see by faith all that has for us
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Let look at three occasions that the Lord opened someone eyes
17 And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is. 18 Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation. 19 And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.
This passage is referring to Hagar-Abraham concubine the mother of Abraham son Ishmael.
At the advice of Sarah (Abraham’s wife ) - Abraham laid with young Hagar to have a child.
Because it was taking too long .
It seemed impossible
They were to old to have the child the Lord a have a son.
Abraham was 75 years old but did have Issac until he was 100 years old; ( sarah was 90).
15 And Hagar bare Abram a son: and Abram called his son’s name, which Hagar bare, Ishmael. 16 And Abram was fourscore and six years old, when Hagar bare Ishmael to Abram.
Abraham was 86 when Ishmael was born.
Sarah told Abraham to get rid of Ishmael
Abraham sent them away as Sarah said
Hagar ran out water for her and the boy ( 14-15 years old).
Hagar was cast away, forsaken, hungry, thirsty.
Notice God heard the lad..... God will protect our children
Even though Ishmael was son of the bondwoman - he was still great a great nation.
As covenant people of God - the Word declares our seed shall be mighty on the earth . Psalm 112:1-2
1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, That delighteth greatly in his commandments. 2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: The generation of the upright shall be blessed.
But God open her eyes and showed his provision for her.
Likewise God will do the same future us
Next lets look at 2 Kings 6: 8-17
8 Then the king of Syria warred against Israel, and took counsel with his servants, saying, In such and such a place shall be my camp. 9 And the man of God sent unto the king of Israel, saying, Beware that thou pass not such a place; for thither the Syrians are come down. 10 And the king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him of, and saved himself there, not once nor twice. 11 Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said unto them, Will ye not shew me which of us is for the king of Israel? 12 And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king: but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber. 13 And he said, Go and spy where he is, that I may send and fetch him. And it was told him, saying, Behold, he is in Dothan. 14 Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about. 15 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? 16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. 17 And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
God directed, protected, and showed his glory by opening the eyes of Elisha’ servant
Elisha told his servant to Fear Not
Elisha asked his the Lord to open His eyes
