Jesus Miracle

The Revised Standard Version, Catholic Edition Chapter 6

53 And when they had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret, and moored to the shore. 54 And when they got out of the boat, immediately the people recognized him, 55 and ran about the whole neighborhood and began to bring sick people on their pallets to any place where they heard he was. 56 And wherever he came, in villages, cities, or country, they laid the sick in the market places, and besought him that they might touch even the fringe of his garment; and as many as touched it were made well.

We all wants some kinds of miracles in our life.

Ex: at a charismatic renewal conference miracle of healing often happens.

People came to praise the Lord with all their hearts. They want to be close to the Lord. They want to be infused with grace which will change their life for the better. do miracle happen? Yes they do. Many receive them. They are healed physically and spiritually.

Physical illness: cancer, pain and suffering

Spiritual: grace of conversion, forgiveness

This happens when they accept willingly Jesus into their life.

The Gospel of Mark recalls Jesus came to Gennesaret where everyone knows him. People came to him from every where. They brought to him all their sick to receive healing. People begged Jesus to heal them. They want Jesus at their side to help them. What a power, what a love that God is willing to do for his people.

Miracles happen every day for us especially in the Eucharist. At the mass bread and wine became true body and blood of Jesus to nourish us and to restore us to health.

Jesus power is unlimited. Once he heard him and receive him we ought be go forth and proclaim his saving message to the whole world.
