Need for accountability: who’s in your corner

we all need people in our lives to help us in various situations.
Berry Gordy and the Song selection process from the Movie: The Temptations.
After all of the hard work of the artist, Barry assemble a group of listeners to decide if the song was a hit or not.
Smokey Robinson’s songs......
Sometimes, it was as simple as Barry saying yes.... other times he would rely on the group. His cloud of witnesses.
we have come to an interesting part of this text, the compliments and pleasantries have been flowing back and forth like a tennis match.
I love you. . no I love you. . . no I love you more
It has been a wonderful express of pure innocent love. Now they are about to wed. This is their wedding day .
The excitement is all around
song 3:7 “Behold, it is the litter of Solomon! Around it are sixty mighty men, some of the mighty men of Israel,”

The fourth major section of the Song of Songs (D, 3:6–5:1) is its literary midpoint. Everything in the book to this point describes the budding relationship of the Shulammite and Solomon, as yet unmarried. Everything beyond the D section portrays the couple as married. Section D (3:6–5:1) is the literary “hinge” between the two: their wedding day and night.
