Introduction: We Need to Be Subject to Our President, Dr. Fauci, and the CDC Guidelines, Because They are Trying to Keep Us Safe and Not Die From Covid 19.

I. We are to Be Subject to Higher Powers, Because God Ordained their Power.

Romans 13:1-7 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

A. Do Not Resist Their Power, Because in Doing So You Will Receive to Yourselves Damnation.

2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

B. Your Rulers Are Not a Terror to Good Works, But to the Evil.

3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil.

C. Will You Not Be Afraid of the Power? Do Good and They will Praise You.

Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

D. They Are Ministers of God for Good.

4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good.

E. If You Do Evil, Be Afraid; For They Bear no the Sword in Vain.

But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain:

F. God Gives Them the Power to Revenge and Execute Wrath Upon Him Who Do Evil

for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

G. You Need to Be Subject Not Only for Wrath, But Also for Conscience Sake.

5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

II. Pay Tribute for This Cause.

A. You are to Attend Continually on This Very Thing.

6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God’s ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.

B. Render Dues to All that Tribute is Due.

Romans 13:7-9 “7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due;
C. Custom to Whom Custom is Due.
custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear;
D. Honor to Whom Honor is Due.
honour to whom honour.
E. Owe No Man Nothing, But Love One Another Thus Fulfilling the Law.
8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
