There’s A Right and A Wrong Way
To Love Somebody
Good morning CHURCH!
Are you ready to be equipped today?
Let me see your Bibles.
A Christian guy named Bill saw an ad online for a Christian horse, so he went to check it out. The horse’s owner said, “It’s easy to ride him. Just say ‘Praise the Lord!’ to make him go and ‘Amen!’ to make him stop.” Bill got on the horse and said, “Praise the Lord!” Sure enough, the horse started to walk. “Praise the Lord!” he said again, and the horse began to trot. “Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!” he yelled, and the horse broke into a gallop. Bill was enjoying his ride so much that he almost didn’t notice the cliff he and the horse were about to go over. Bill shouted “AMEN!” at the top of his lungs, and the horse stopped right at the edge of the cliff. Relieved, Bill said, “Phew! Praise the Lord!”
Let’s go to the book of 1 Corinthians for this week’s wisdom Vaccination.
This Week’s Wisdom Vaccination
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 ESV
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 ESV
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Today’s message title is:

You Can Try to Do Everything Right
You Can Try to Do Everything Right
When you try to do everything right you always seem to notice everything that’s wrong.
Romans 3:20 ESV
Romans 3:20 ESV
For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.

Point #2
Treat Each Other Right
Treat Each Other Right
Why do we as Christians treat each other like crap sometimes?
Ephesians 4:31-32 ESV
Ephesians 4:31-32 ESV
Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.
32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
How has God in Christ forgiven us?
Ephesians 5:1-2 ESV
Ephesians 5:1-2 ESV
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
If you know you shouldn’t ever be bitter, wrathful, slanderous, clamoring which is yelling at each other or operating with malice, the remedy is to imitate God and walk in love.
We can’t imitate God and walk in his love if we don’t really know it.
How do we get to know the love of God?
Romans 8:35-39 ESV
Romans 8:35-39 ESV
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? 36 As it is written,
“For your sake we are being killed all the day long;
we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
But we seem to let any little thing separate us from loving each other.
If we are imitating God and His love, then nothing shall separate us in our marriages.
With the love of God we are more than conquerors in our marriages.
Without the God kind of love we fail in many areas.

If You’re Righteous Act Like It
If You’re Righteous Act Like It
If God looks at you as a person that is on good terms with him, then why would we ever act out character?
2 Corinthians 5:21 ESV
2 Corinthians 5:21 ESV
For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Anything outside of the nature and character of God would be us acting out of character.
Anything outside of the nature and character of God would be a sign that we have some faulty wiring.
Romans 8:1 ESV
Romans 8:1 ESV
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
I can only point out in a condemning way something to my spouse if I feel condemned when I miss the mark.
But through the love of God if he doesn’t condemn me then why would I condemn you.
If you’re watching online or here in the room, I have a very important question to ask you.
What is Holy Spirit saying to you right now?
