15 “If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone.
If he listens to you, you have gained your brother.
This is about restoring someone in humility.
They might not even know that they have done anything wrong.
The goal is to seek restoration not revenge.
Jesus understood that if you attack someone right out the gate with what they did to you then they are very unlikely to ask for forgiveness or believe they have done anything wrong.

If you go to your brother with the idea of winning a brother/sister, and not winning an argument you are lease likely to restore them to God and are very likely to be lead astray yourself.
The word restore in Galatians means to set into line like you would a broken bone.
When you have a broken bone you put it back in place but you treat the injury with gentleness and respect because it’s tender and it hurts and it’s hard to deal with.
2. Get Other Sheep Involved
Why do we involve other believers?
These need to be believers that are older, will speak truth to you, and is close enough to you to do so.
Don’t go seeking the counsel of someone who will only tell you what you want to hear.
They can testify to the truth of the conversation you are having with the other.
So that if YOU are the one that is actually in the wrong they will be able to show you.

4. Treat Them as an Unbeliever
How did Jesus treat the Gentiles and Tax Collectors (i.e.
unbelievers)
With compassion, kindness, and gentleness.
He would sit and eat with them offering them healing and forgiveness and offered them the opportunity to repent.
How would we treat a young believer?
Then we need to ask how we would treat a non-believer.
You give a non-believer double what you would give a young believer.
