1 John 5:13–15 KJV 1900
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
The name of this message is “There is something about the name Jesus.

The name of Jesus belongs to us

The most honorable thing someone can do is to give another person the rights and privileges of their name.

When some graduate the school, college of University confer the graduate with their name
When some joins the military the given the name soldier, sailor, airmen, Marine

As believer in Christ we have given the authority to use the of Jesus and the power of the name of Jesus.
Our KingJesus our conferred (granted or bestowed) the power of attorney to use His name.
John 14:12–15 KJV 1900
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments.

The enemy wants us misunderstand and lose confidence in the name of Jesus.

To misuderstand something is fail to see, hear, discern something correctly. — That why we should be believers that study and search the scripture and pray for understanding.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Romans 8:38–39 KJV 1900
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Hebrews 10:35–37 KJV 1900
Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

Three things way we have been given as belivers

Our birthright as Christians is to inherit all that God is in Christ. The apostle Paul told us that Christ Himself is our allotted inheritance (Col. 1:12; Eph. 1:14), that we are heirs of God (Rom. 8:17), and that we have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ”
Colossians 1:12 KJV 1900

Romans 8:17 KJV 1900
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
A covenant is an agreement between God and man, an accord whose terms are set by God. In these divine agreements, God binds Himself to sustain, sanctify, and exalt us in return for our commitment to serve Him and keep His commandments.”
Matthew 26:28 KJV 1900
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Jeremiah 31:33 KJV 1900
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, And write it in their hearts; And will be their God, And they shall be my people.
(Eph. 1:3).A power of attorney is a legal document that allows someone else to act on your behalf.
The power and authority of the Name of Jesus rightfully belongs to you as a born-again Christian, and He expects you to use it!
Before Jesus ascended to be seated at the right hand of the Father, He said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me” Matthew 28:18,
Matthew 28:18 KJV 1900
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Born again believers, have authority to use His name-
John 14:12–15 KJV 1900
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments.

When to use His name

Use the Name of Jesus to Put Sicknes, demons, diseases to Flight
Mark 16:17–18 KJV 1900
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Ephesians 1:21 KJV 1900
Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
Philippians 2:5–11 KJV 1900
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
