Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. Philippians 1:6 (NASB95) fi For I am con dent of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 1:30 (ESV) fi And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sancti cation and redemption.
