We come today by Faith, By faith we live open eyes flood our hearts with light to comprehend the mystery of your will, for you have said

29 “The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.

Reveal your secrets to us this day!
So today we are looking at how we walk by faith it is something that has been stirring in my heart for three weeks so lets just start. I turn your attention to Hebrews 11
“1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. 3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. 4 By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks. 5 By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. 7 By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became he…”
So what does “By faith” mean…how do we quantify it in our daily lives.
Lets look at a passage of scripture, Mark 5: 25,34
The New King James Version (Chapter 5)
25 Now a certain woman phad a flow of blood for twelve years, 26 and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. 27 When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and qtouched His garment. 28 For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.”29 Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the 6affliction. 30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that rpower had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?”31 But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ”32 And He looked around to see her who had done this thing. 33 But the woman, sfearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. 34 And He said to her, “Daughter, tyour faith has made you well. uGo in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”
For she said… this was her faith, she believed in something the truth and then she had to push through the crowd to get her victory.
James say 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
The New King James Version (Jas 2:17). (1982). Thomas Nelson.
Lets look at another instance of by faith. 6 And hHe marveled because of their unbelief. iThen He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching.
jAnd He called the twelve to Himself, and began to send them out ktwo by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits. 8 He commanded them to take nothing for the journey except a staff—no bag, no bread, no copper in their money belts—9 but lto wear sandals, and not to put on two tunics.
h Is. 59:16; Matt. 17:17, 20; [Heb. 3:18, 19; 4:2]
i Matt. 9:35; Luke 13:22; Acts 10:38; Eph. 2:17
j Matt. 10:1; 28:19, 20; Mark 3:13, 14; Luke 9:1
k [Eccl. 4:9, 10]
l [Eph. 6:15]
The New King James Version (Mk 6:6–9). (1982). Thomas Nelson.
The disciples had to believe they had authority and then go. This was radical, can you name someone in History at their time frame who had said anything to His followers and sent them out without means of provision. This obviously when on for some days. Jesus proved you believe in me and you will do what he has done.
The New King James Version (Mark 6: 12)
12 So they went out and preached that people should repent. 13 And they cast out many demons, pand anointed with oil many who were sick, and healed them.
…Lets remember Galatians III: 7, 9 7 Therefore know that only fthose who are of faith are sons of Abraham. 8 And gthe Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, h“In you all the nations shall be blessed.” 9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.
So it is the acting on what we believe… I remember when i started praying in tongues earnestly. I did that which Apostle Paul said, forbid not to speak with tongues, and every day little by little understanding, comprehension has been added to me. I have not arrived but I have left the train station and life has become more fulfilling for me. Can you relate any story to us of this same “By faith”.
Galatians V: 5, 6 - 5 For we through the Spirit eagerly gwait for the hope of righteousness by faith. 6 For hin Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but ifaith working through love.
Lets look at Exodus 2. This story is taken from Hebrews XI: 23 “23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king’s command.”
“1 And a man of the house of Levi went and took as wife a daughter of Levi. 2 So the woman conceived and bore a son. And when she saw that he was a beautiful child, she hid him three months. 3 But when she could no longer hide him, she took an ark of bulrushes for him, daubed it with asphalt and pitch, put the child in it, and laid it in the reeds by the river’s bank. 4 And his sister stood afar off, to know what would be done to him. 5 Then the daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe at the river. And her maidens walked along the riverside; and when she saw the ark among the reeds, she sent her maid to get it. 6 And when she opened it, she saw the child, and behold, the baby wept. So she had compassion on him, and said, “This is one of the Hebrews’ children.” 7 Then his sister said to Pharaoh’s daughter, “Shall I go and call a nurse for you from the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for you?” 8 And Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Go.” So the maiden went and called the child’s …”
