He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.

The Kingdom is first offered to the Nation of Israel (and rejected)

Matt 12:48-50, Rom 11:25.

#2 The Cross:

Paid for the sins of the whole word (1Jn 2:2, 1 Tim 2:5-6). The cross parks the end of Daniel’s 69 weeks (Dan 9:25-27). The Kingdom is postponed. - Prior to the cross: Believers and Unbelievers went to Sheol (Lk 16:19ff) -After the cross: Believers go to be with the Lord in spirit: 2 Cor 5:8, Phil 1:23until the resurrection.

#3 Church Age: The Church is established (Acts 2/10), Re-Offer of the Kingdom to Israel (rejected) –Acts 3:19-20. We are now in the last days (Acts 2:17). This is were we are now…Waiting on the rapture.

#4 Rapture:

The rapture will occur before the Tribulation period. There are some who teach that the rapture is mid-Trib or even after the Tribulation. I disagree. I hold to a Pre-Trib rapture. (1 Thess 5:1-10). The Lords “coming “ (=“Parousia” Matt 24:39) for the church and meets the saints in the clouds. The dead believers will rise first and receive glorified bodies, then living Christians will receive glorified bodies then both will ascend to the clouds and meet the Lord (1 Thess 4:13-17, 1 Cor 15;51ff, Matt 24:36-41). The rapture will be sudden like “a thief coming at night.” It will be like Sodom and Gomorrah or the days of Noah when the flood came. There will be no sign. It will be sudden. The saints will be delivered out before the destruction falls (i.e. Lot and Noah were delivered out before the fire/flood came). If the rapture is mid trib or post-trib how can it be sudden?

#5 Judgement Seat of Christ (Bema) . Believers will be judged to determine their rewards ( 1 Jon 2:28, 2 Cor 5:10, 1 Cor 3:10-17, Rom 14:10, Lk 19:12ff).

#6 Seven year Tribulation: Matthew 24:8 The beginning of birth pains= The birth of a new age has begun. Daniels 70thweek. 6a. Temple rebuilt? Covenant with Israel is formed (Dan 9:27) 6b. 144,000 Jews come to faith and are sealed (Rev 7:1-8, Matt 24:14) 6c. Two Prophets go out and perform miracles/preach. No rain (Rev 11:1-12). 6d. Seals are opened (Rev 5) = First 3 ½ years . 1 White Horse (Heavenly warfare with earth) 2. Wars on earth 3. Famine 4. Death 5. Believers killed 6. Signs in the heavens 7. Silence 6e. Trumpets(Rev 8-9) 6f. Bowls (Rev16).

- Unholy Trinity: Satan, Man of Sin (=political leader), False Prophet (Spiritual Leader ( Rev 13:11-17)

#7 Abomination of Desolation: (Matt 24:15) This event marks the Mid-point of the Tribulation. The covenant with Israel is broken, and the man of sin goes into the temple and proclaims himself God ( Dan 9:27, 11:31,12:11). Jews are persecuted and flee to the desert (Matt 24:16ff, Rev 12:13-17, 10 Virgins Matt 25:1-13 “Mid-Night Cry”). The two prophets are killed/rise again (Rev 11).Man of sin is mortally wounded then healed, and the Mark of the Beast(Rev 13) will be enforced. We are now in the beginning of the “Great Tribulation”= last 3 1/2 yrs. - Matt 24:22 These days are shortened.

#8 Lord returns/Armageddon: The coming (=“erchomai” Matt 24:30) of the Lord to the earth with all the saints (Rev 19:11-21). He descends on the Mt. of Olives and delivers the nation of Israel from the armies of the Man of Sin/False Prophet at the battle of Armageddon ( Zach 14:4-5, Rev 19). Sheep and Goats/Judgement (Matt 25:31-46). Resurrection of O.T. saints (Dan 12) and Tribulation believers (Rev 20:4)

#9 Satan cast into the pit for 1,000 years(Rev 20:1-3). The Man of Sin/False Prophet cast into the lake of fire (Rev 19:20).

#10 Millennial Kingdom: The Lord reigns on the earth for a 1,000 years with the saints (Zech 14:16-21, Romans 8:17, Rev 20: 4-6). New Covenant with Israel established (Jer 31:31-34), Ez 40-48 New Temple, Jews are blessed (Zech 8:23). People are born during this time(Is 65:20-25)

#11 Gog and Magog: The last rebellion. Satan is release from the pit at the end of the 1,000 years and gathers all the unbelievers to Jerusalem. The Lord defeats them and Satan is cast into the lake of fire (Rev 20:7-10)

#12 Great White Throne: Rev 20:11ff All unbelievers from all time are brought before the Lord and cast into the lake of fire because they are not found in the book of life.

#13 New Heaven/Earth. The Lord makes all things new (Rev 21:1ff, 1 Cor 2:9). No more tears (Rev 21:24), No temple (21:22), No night (22:5).
