Who here believes they have the gift of healing?
Who here desires to lay hands on the sick and see them healed?
What is the greatest hinderance to Christians seeing healings?
Fear of failure
Lack of Faith
Not an understanding of it

Why Heal
God is interested in the Body!
Goal: 1) Divine Healing is just not for the physical
It heals in all areas (Soul Spirit and Physical Body)
You sins have been forgiven be healed
Preach the good news and heal
God cares about His Temple 1 Cor 6:9-20 (verse 13)
13 - Body is for God

20 - Glorify God in your body
Romans 12:1 - Living sacrifice
2) To overcome
a) God chooses to heal so that we might get to know Him and His love for us. It builds our faith and frees us up and opens are eyes to the goodness and power of God. It makes God real.
Without Love!
b) Conditions in the Body affect the soul!
Study found that 2/3 of people that went to the doctor had issues brought on by mental stress.
And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Why is their sickness?
Because of Sin (Genesis) Dt 28:15, 22, 27, 28, 35
Result of specific sin (John 5:14)
God allows it (Job) disobedience or sin (Psalm 107:17 20)
Sickness is from Satin!
Key(s) to healing ministry
The greatest hinderance:
1. A) Is its God’s WILL?
Its not if he can but if he wills to do so. This is what people ask.
It is impossible to claim something in faith if you do not know if its His plan. Faith begins when the will of God is known. It is impossible to have faith if you do not know Gods will. ~ F.F. Bolsworth
So when we ask this question are we INSULTING God?
We are saying God I know you can if you only would? We are stating the character of God as not a good father.
So:
Is He willing to heal? Is it wise for him to do so? Is it part of His plan ?

B) We see it throughout scripture:
We see throughout scripture he was willing and healed. Every plan for Gods people included health.
Old Testament:
Abraham prayed for Abimelech, wife and maidservants
Obey and health - Lasting Covenant
God even puts this name of Him here. Jehovah Rapha
And he cried to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a log, and he threw it into the water, and the water became sweet.
There the Lord made for them a statute and a rule, and there he tested them, saying, “If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, your healer.”
Lev 26 talks about the blessings and the curses include diseases
You shall serve the Lord your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you.
loving the Lord your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him, for he is your life and length of days, that you may dwell in the land that the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”
Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
Psalm 91:9,10
Psalm 103:2,3
He sent out his word and healed them,
and delivered them from their destruction.
My son, be attentive to my words;
incline your ear to my sayings.
Let them not escape from your sight;
keep them within your heart.
For they are life to those who find them,
and healing to all their flesh.
We see with all these examples and over over that this is God’s very nature

Disciples:
And he called to him his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every affliction.

He commanded the sickness to leave realizing it was from Satin and not Gods plan.
