Sermon Tone Analysis

*Thrust:* Spiritual relationships don’t just happen but are intentionally forged through the Spirit for God’s pleasure.

/It is not good for man to be alone.

/I will make My dwelling among them… I will be their God, and they shall be My people ... be separate from them… I will be a Father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to Me. (2 Cor 6:16-18)/

/For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.

For in *ONE SPIRIT* we were all baptized into *ONE BODY* — Jews or Greeks, slaves or free — and all were made to drink of *ONE SPIRIT*.

Christ-Centred Relationship

/He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

And He is the Head of the Body, the Church.

He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything He might be preeminent.

For in Him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell.

* 1) Christ is *before* all things (v.17)

* 2) Christ is the *Head* (v.18)

/…the *Head*, from whom the whole body, *nourished* and knit together through its joints and ligaments, *grows* with a growth that is from God. (Col 2:19)/
