Weeds
So Pahrump know about weeds right?
Weeds are annoying because if you dont pull the root they just keep coming back worse and worse.
When we think about the weeds we think bad.
I dont like them.
So are easy to get up, some are low to the ground, and some have thorns that prick you right.
So let’s look at the explanation
Ok, The man who sowed the good seed is Jesus.
He died on the cross for us which was explained in the same scripture, the field is the World, the good seed that is you and me.
Jesus and the World
We know that its not left just at this right.
Because if it was left to this, we wouldn’t need Jesus and everything would be great.
But that’s not true because Adam and Eve ate the apple due to the Devil coming down and tempting them saying “You will be like God if you eat this fruit.”
Last week we talked about the Sower, and how different environments can either hinder or excel our faith.
This talks about now the seed has planted in all of us and where do we fit.
The enemy is the devil.

The beginning of verse 25, it says While the men were sleeping, the enemy comes.
Crimes happen more often when someone is not home or while someone is sleeping.
People know I grew up in a law enforcement environment.
My father served on the streets for 30 years before retiring, then went to security guard, then also ran academies for new recruits wanting to make a career with law enforcement.
I remember when I was young and the family was out, our house was robbed.
Broken through our laundry room window.
Took pillow cases from mine and my brother’s bed and took jewelry, cds and other stuff.
My dad’s gun belt was hanging on the back of the closet door and they did not touch that.
I talk about this because we were gone and the enemy attacked.
Ive said it before during invitation, only you can make that personal decision to have a personal relation with God.
People out there can claim to be Christian but they are
Sleeping in their Faith
The Reapers are coming
I go to church and good attitude others but dont expect to serve.
I have accepted Christ when I was in youth group but no I dont read the Bible as much as I should.
NO I don’t follow God in everything but I know He will forgive me no matter what.
Next movie night we are watching Left Behind.
Well I re-watched it this past week, People were sleeping and woke up and found loved ones raptured in a plane.
Now this is a good thing because we know that when the rapture happens we pry we are going to be raptured with every one else.
However, in the movie, the pastor of the church was not raptured.
Weed or Wheat?
The question is are you a weed, or are you a wheat?
Are you distracting, just following the motions, maybe causing people to stumble and not grow?
Or are you uplifting people, following God and picking up your cross daily?
