John 15:1–7 NKJV
1 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
The call in this last days that we live in, were the ones we just read.
To be in Christ!
Why?
Aside from the fact that the world grows everyday more and more corrupt, we know that Christ return is immanent.
The world grows more and more in sin, we therefore must grow more and more IN CHRIST.
Jesus’ last words documented in the bible were
Revelation 22:20 NKJV
20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

Don’t let it Slip

What then shall we do? We listen to some thing else He said in Revelations.
Revelation 3:11 NKJV
11 Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.
Hold on to what you have.
Don’t let it slip out of your hands for this or that.
A great many things will take our focus away from the price at hand, but let us keep our eyes on Jesus.
Hebrews 12:1–2 NKJV
1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
The author of Hebrews tells us to lay aside every weight and sin that so easily ensnares us.
Paul also says in the book of
Colossians 3:1–3 NKJV
1 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
This world must be left behind.

Walk as He walked

1 John 2:6 NKJV
6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
Jesus walked separated from the world.
He walked doing the will of the Father.
Are aiming to please God or ourselves.
Do we identify with Christ.
Our identity must be Christian = or Christlike.
What makes you a christian?
The world gets christian tattoos and wear christian crosses.
But what makes you a christian?
Is it that you go to church and that's it?
But if church is the only thing about us that is christian then we need to evaluate ourselves.
We are called to different.
We are called to separate ourselves from the world and stand out for Christ.

The Trumpet is about to Sound

The end is near, have confidence in Him by abiding
1 John 2:28 NKJV
28 And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.
We have a promise in the bible.
The trumpet is soon to sound
Many stop believing in this. But this church hasn’t.
1 Corinthians 15:51–55 NKJV
51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” 55 “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?”
1 Corinthians 15:58 NKJV
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
BE STEADFAST, Be IMMOVABLE!!!!!!
Because if not the word says:
If we fail to abide in Him, there is a grim picture.
John 15:2 NKJV
2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
John 15:6 NKJV
6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
But there is a promise for those in Him.
Psalm 91:1 NKJV
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Revelation 22:12 NKJV
12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.
