Invocation for Richland County Council Meeting

Thank the County Council Chairman Councilman Walker and the entire Richland County council.

Please join me in a moment of prayer.

Father,

Thank you for the gift of love, community, and fellowship. On behalf of all those gathered here today, thank you for the tremendous blessings you continually pour upon us, without fail. Thank you for the blessings of good health, safety, liberty and friendship. Thank you for the ability to work together in harmony and in fulfillment of the purposes you established for our lives long before the world began. Thank you for the privilege to serve in the unique capacities designated in this room and the joy of knowing that every contribution will lead to the manifestation of your glorious plan. Thank you for loving us and trusting us enough to participate in the things you do among men and for the witness of your complete sovereignty over all.

Thank you for the efforts of the Richland County Council and their labor to lead a more productive society. Thank you for the establishment of government, which you have established for the well-being of all men.

May your wisdom and guidance be given to all who hold the responsibility of making decisions on behalf of others. May we find the means to bridge any open gaps that may hinder us from living as one family on this earth. May the decisions and efforts of each person in this room be a reflection of the justice we find in your Son who is the sign of your love for all. May the things done in this meeting bring you the ultimate glory, that only you deserve and lead to the transformation of lives in Richland County.

Lastly, I pray for the citizens of Ukraine. May your mercy and grace cover them, and may we all realize the power of love and peace.
