Kingdom of God
We live in the world but not of the world (John 15:19 & 17:14-16)
We belong to the Kingdom of God
John 3:4-5 & Colossians 1:13-14
John 3:4–5 NKJV
4 Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” 5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
Colossians 1:13–14 NKJV
13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
Colossians 1:13–14 TPT
13 He has rescued us completely from the tyrannical rule of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom realm of his beloved Son. 14 For in the Son all our sins are canceled and we have the release of redemption through his very blood.
Now we serve the King of the Kingdom - Son of God - Yeshua the Messiah
Colossians2:9-10 (The Passion Translation)
Colossians 2:9–10 TPT
9 For he is the complete fullness of deity living in human form. 10 And our own completeness is now found in him. We are completely filled with God as Christ’s fullness overflows within us. He is the Head of every kingdom and authority in the universe!
Your Identity is your King and the Kingdom
Who you are in Christ Jesus?
We have to undo all our other identities (especially as just Christians)
Galatians 2:20 (TPT)
Galatians 2:20 TPT
20 “My old identity has been co-crucified with Messiah and no longer lives; for the nails of his cross crucified me with him. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through me—we live in union as one! My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, and dispenses his life into mine!
The Revelation
Identity brings Revelation
Revelation of who you are in Christ Jesus
Father sees you and me as flawless, Holy and fully restored to our original (Adam & Eve)
Colossians 1:20-22 (TPT)
-innocence again - literally means ‘back to Himself’
Colossians 1:20 TPT
20 And by the blood of his cross, everything in heaven and earth is brought back to himself—back to its original intent, restored to innocence again!
-innocence again - literally means ‘back to Himself’
Colossians 1:21–22 TPT
21 Even though you were once distant from him, living in the shadows of your evil thoughts and actions, he reconnected you back to himself. He released his supernatural peace to you through the sacrifice of his own body as the sin-payment on your behalf so that you would dwell in his presence. And now there is nothing between you and Father God, for he sees you as holy, flawless, and restored,
payment on your behalf so that you would dwell in his presence (Kingdom realm)
Romans 8:17 TPT
17 And since we are his true children, we qualify to share all his treasures, for indeed, we are heirs of God himself. And since we are joined to Christ, we also inherit all that he is and all that he has. We will experience being co-glorified with him provided that we accept his sufferings as our own.
Revelation of our Identity in the Kingdom realm is far superior and important than our natural identity
Romans 8:17 TPT & Ephesians 6:12 NKJV
Ephesians 6:12 NKJV
12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 2:6 TPT
6 He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ!
Jesus is the Head of every kingdom and authority in the universe!
Jesus dethroned the devil so that we can reign
