In the betrayal of the Lord Jesus, we find a wonderful example of how to overcome in the spiritual war. This passage teaches what it means to win in the spiritual war and how it is accomplished. The wicked rule through fear, but when fear is no longer effective, violence is their only remaining weapon. Paul reminds us that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through the Lord to the pulling down of strongholds.
