When someone uses the word yoke what do you think of...

Breakfast and the egg yokes over easy?

Not exactly what Jesus had in mind in Matt 11:30. He did say His yoke is easy, tho! English is such a wonderful language, isn't it!

Let's spend our remaining time studying just what Jesus meant.when He said "My yoke is easy".

Last Sabbath DrW referred to the commonly held belief that Jesus had done it all for us. That there is nothing for us to do but believe in Jesus.

The Greek word zygos (zee/gloos) Yoke" is always associated with the control or transfer of power

One such word is yoke.

When Jesus was speaking to those in Capernaum he was not referring to how he wished his eggs served for breakfast.

Let's read his words in Matt 11:30... my yoke is easy. my burden is light.
