If we are going to be a church that goes after the vision God has of reaching 6000 people for Christ, it wont’ be becuase one man said it, it won’t be because a few people are doing things, it will be because a whole church full of believers make Christ preeminent in theier lives by giving of themselves through the local church.
Tonight I’m taking the time to announce all of the teams at one time that you can serve in.
You will start to see ways to serve metnioned more often during the service.
Prayer Team-530, 1st Sunday Night of the month.
Looking to see it grow into more
Care team-Care and visitation of others.
So new I have only mentioned in passing to the couple I want to lead it but I’ll be having more conversations going forward.
Facilities Team-Pastor Davidson is a great point of contact right now for this however we are transitioning this over to Dave Mariani.
maintenance and care of the facilities.
Snow removal, upkeep, etc.
First Impressions-Craig.
Freshening up of facilities to prepare for services.
To include Wednesday nights.
I hate the idea that “O it’s just Wedneday night lets leave it out...”
Hospitallity- Greeters and ushers.
Worship (and events)-Craig and Carmie take care of the worship team.
Just had tryouts and I’m thankful for those involved.
You do need to know that those who step on the platform as part of the worship team or anyone who teaches the Bible is asked to agree to our leadership commitment.
Tech Team-Rick heads this up.
It’s not just the sound board, it’s the camera and presentaiton software.
Nursery Team-Mrs.
Talie runs this one, always need more
Kids-Sarah manages this with Joe and Heather really take care of Master clubs, our wednesday night program.
Jr. Church and Bible Study hour.
LBC Youth- Craig runs this and is always looking for others that would be good influences on our youth.
Chaperonnes for events, etc.
Outreach- Craig runs.
Great for yout o be apart of the planning of outrecah events and or always on the cal list for volunteers to be part of it.
like Cafe real.
Media-Group ran right now.
Announcement videos and other video projects throughout the year that we can’t do right now due to lack of the volunteers.
Dan White is good to video, looking for people to edit and be in front of the camera
Office Volunteers- Much o the work to be completed is on the computer.
Need computer savvy or at least trainable individuals that can assist with various tasks.
Also, tidyiing up of the office space and organization would be a great help.
