Ephesians 3:1–3 NASB95
For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles— if indeed you have heard of the stewardship of God’s grace which was given to me for you; that by revelation there was made known to me the mystery, as I wrote before in brief.
What is the For The for refers back to last week How God called Paul to minister to tech gentiles in which Christ has grafted in verses 11-22 of chapter 2 so there would be reconciliation between enemies
That Christ Came to die for all who would trust in Him That He Himself is the chief cornerstone that through Him we may grow in Him and with one another
Now in chapter 3 the first word is For This word ties it to chapter 2 the final though of chapter 2
Here in chapter 3 Paul is saying Because Christ did all this I a servant of Christ for the sake of the gentiles
Meaning He has been called to proclaim the Gospel to the Gentile That the Word was given to Paul from God for our Sake
That....... Look at the That.... Here is the reason God saved Paul instead of damming Him on that road to damascus
The Grace of God instead of the Wrath of God
that when you read this passage His Word you may understand the mysteries of God
God Has given Grace to Paul that grace comes to you that you may know what God desires for you to know so you can have faith to trust and to obey God
When God gives grace when he could give wrath seek Him to find how you are to use His grace For His purpose
Ephesians 3:5–9 NASB95
which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit; to be specific, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel, of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of God’s grace which was given to me according to the working of His power. To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ, and to bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God who created all things;
2. You are Blessed You have what many before you never had access to God.
Even to the least of saints this grace was given
3. Maybe you don't feel worthy Let me tell you no man is But Christ is an He makes you worthy
maybe you say to me you don't understand how i have hurt others what ive done. Look the Gospel is clear God came to earth as man to pay the ransom for the sinner
No one is to lost that cannot be found
Ephesians 3:10–21 (NASB95)
so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places. This was in accordance with the eternal purpose which He carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him. Therefore I ask you not to lose heart at my tribulations on your behalf, for they are your glory. For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
4. You have access to Gods will through His Holy Word
We can be confident in Him in spite of our circumstance
therefore do not loose heart they are there for your glory we are tested by the fire like how Gold is refined
Christ has done this that in spite of our circumstance we can remain joyful as he dwells in our hearts His spirit within us he goes through our troubles with us encouraging us comforting us
The longer I serve him the sweeter He is only refining me drawing me closer I rely on Him more in every trial I go through I have learned peace comes when I run to Christ not when I run away
