Servant Leader

Understanding the call of God, for a Pastor, takes some getting use to. There are some area’s that will come up that one doesn’t expect. When you have been given a charge, by God, it only makes since to consult with Him about directions. The personality that we had before the call. Will not be able to survive the jungle we have entered. This human maze of personalities changes. There is a responsibility, timing and focus that must be maintain.

Those type of things you learn in Seminary. When you are called to a God position, the one thing you need more than anything is faith in God’s word. The word carries us, directs us, warns us, and keeps us through our spiritual journey. I truly believe that one doesn’t know there purpose for living until God reveals it to them. God doesn’t do anything just because He can. There is a purpose to everything He does. Once we understand that, then we slow down in being so critical of one another.

Let me get back to my thought. Following God as a leader has it’s challenges. Our personality shapes the place God blessed us to serve. When you go visit another house of prayer. The way you are treated, on the must part, is a reflection of what is being taught there by the leadership.
