Tiras:- (Thracians:- modern day scandanavia)

Cush: (People who populated East Africa, is specifically reffering to Ethiopians and part of Sudan)

Mizraim:- ( Egypt )

Put:- ( Lybia)

Canaan ( The pheonicians ( amorites, hitites etc ) and the Sinite were ancestors of modern day Asians)

Important Note to take from chapter 10

All of the different people groups that we see today had one ancestor and that is Noah who was a descendant of Adam.

Out of the sons of Noah, God follows the line of Shem, and out of Shem God follows Eber and out of Eber from which Abraham Descended. God then choses the family of Abraham and seperates him from Everybody else.

Genesis 11

The man behind the tower of Babel was NImrod.

Under him all the people were united to build a tower, to make name for themsleves.

God’s will was for them to be fruitfull, spread forth and fill the earth. However they in rebellion to this they wanted to build an tower.

“this is what they begin to do”. IN other words, when they were united they firt act, was an act of rebellion against Command of God. Men when united, their works will always be a work of rebellion.

The lord acknowedges that Since they are one and have one speach, nothing they proposed to do will be witheld from them.

Whetever man tries to do united without God would unltimately fail.

Nimrod is a shadow of Antichrist, Just like in that time. The world is slowly becoming one, in language and even in culture.
