Intro:

What can Grace do?
Can grace change a murderer into a preacher?
Can grace change a secular man into a spiritual man?
Can grace change the attitude of families struggling to make hen’s meat?
Can grace revive a city?

Grace on display is committed to the cause of Christ. (vs. 1-2)

Grace on display places its hope on a common goal. (vs. 3-5)

Grace on display demonstrates a consistent life (vs. 6-8)

Conclusion:

A woman by the name of Julia H. Johnston was born in 1849 and died in 1919. She lived through the most devastating war in terms of casualties to Americans in the Civil War, she lived through the social upheaval with the removal of slavery, and she died not long after what at that time was known as the war to end in all wars in WWI. However, nine years before her death she wrote this song:
Grace, grace God’s grace grace that will pardon and cleanse within
Grace, grace God’s grace grace that is greater than all our sin.
