Last week we considered David’s ‘human solution’ to his sin, how wrong it went, and how we are all prone to ‘wandering hearts’. This week we will consider the godly response to sin as we consider David’s confession in Psalm 51. And from this Psalm, we find some great answers to the question: What is repentance? What does it mean to have ‘a broken and contrite heart’? It means owning our sin. It means confessing within a personal relationship. And it means seeking a brand new heart – one that is clean, thankful, and overflows with the praise of God. Speaker: Dan Kroon
