It is possible to pray prayerlessly! To pray without ever reaching God. Scripture contains exhortations for us to pray and tells us how to pray. It is so gives us examples of saints who pray and get the ear of God, for our encouragement and instruction, and for God's glory. Nehemiah 1 is such an example.
