The Life of Paul

24 But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God

Unmovable
This morning I want to encourage someone who may be on the brink of giving up. I want to encourage the person who’s faith has been test simply by the trials of life, and you’ve come to the point of asking yourself & God do you really see me and want the best for me in my life? because today i want to demonstrate the life of the Apostle Paul who was a solid Christian. But He suffered perhaps more than any other man in the Bible except Jesus. And Despite all this, nothing could move Him. His life was wholly given to God. God is looking for more unmovable people like Paul. Today it’s not my intentions to discourage any of you but to activate or reactivate something inside of you to tell you keep standing firm and unmovable especially with your relationship with God through Christ.
This simple text in the Book of Acts has so much packed in it that I pray I have the grace of God to unpack it properly today.
Unmovable
1. PEOPLE COULD NOT MOVE HIM.
2. PERSECUTION COULD NOT MOVE HIM.
3. PROBLEMS COULD NOT MOVE HIM.
4. POWERS COULD NOT MOVE HIM.
Perhaps the saddest words in the Bible are found in John 6:66–68. Here we see those who had received help and blessing from Christ go back and walk no more with Him. They turn their back on Christ, because the price was too high.

66 From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more.

Confession by Peter

67 Then Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you also want to go away?”

68 But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

70 Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?” 71 He spoke of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, for it was he who would betray Him, being one of the twelve.
